Hey there.
Yes, I’ve been MIA blog wise for the past few days! Not only have I had a lot of scrapping admin going on, I’ve also worked furiously on projects that I’m just not able to share with you …. YET!
I can, however, share with you my take on the latest challenge over at CSI: Color Stories Inspiration!
It’s a Major Case File and it includes another wonderful sketch by our Em of The Nifty Pixel.
So this is how I solved the case this time:
Scheme : all there
Evidence : stripes, clouds, food, monsters, distressing
Testimony : journal about a meal, IW – outside
Well, I suppose that technically, eating ice-cream is not a meal. Not to any adult or sensible human anyway – but to you, my Ice Cream Monster, it is a joyous meal in its own right! Regardless of what the weather is doing outside, you will eat ice cream. And you do so with absolute relish. In fact, it’s safe to say that you are at your most quiet, serene, chilled (pardon the pun) and totally zoned out when you are devouring your frosty, decadent delight. No thought is spared at how much more ice cream ends up on your face vs. how much goes in your mouth. The world outside of that creamy indulgence melting down your warm hands does not exist. It’s a sight to behold, watching (and listening to!) you eat something as simple as an ice cream. It’s true what they say – enjoy the little things in life, for one day you will look back (as I do now!) and realise that they are, in fact, big things!
And here are some close-ups of this piece.
Great photos in a cute layout:-) As always, I love your journalling!
