Next up is my take on both the sketch and beautiful mood board challenge over at Scrappingclearly:
I love this colour palette so much!! Normally orange would make me turn and run, but I just love how it works so well here!
So, this is what I did. You will see (as usual!) layering, layering and more layering. The heart shape is also three layered pieces – two ovals for the upper part of the heart and then a corner for the lower portion. Aside from the colour palette, I took inspiration from the sayings – and included a ‘live your dreams’ quote on my piece; as well as the use of rose elements.
