Hello all and hello December!
Today up on my blog, I want to share the work that I did for Case File 243 over at CSI. What a BEAUTIFUL colour palette for you to work with – AND the added bonus of a yummy sketch by Em of The Nifty Pixel!
Here is how I solved the case:
Scheme : all there
Evidence : solid background, silver, frame, circular elements
Testimony : December prompt – how do you procrastinate
I know that it drives my partner absolutely crazy, but when I procrastinate about anything, I become introspective. I need to allow my mind to pick apart, analyse, assess and put back together a situation or event that is bothering me. It might take a day for me to do this; it has sometimes taken longer. I don’t always reach a conclusion that has the best outcome, but at least I’ve dissected every single element and carefully examined every bit. I become introspective to the point that I literally don’t communicate with anyone – whether it’s verbal, via mobile phone platform, email or social media. I go into my mental hiding space. And for the most part, it works for me.
The latest challenge up on the Mix It Up Challenge Blog is – Anything Goes + Fancy Fold. I had initially started my submission for this, with some quilling (which I have never attempted before), but it was not going according to plan – so I promptly abandoned it. Next, I tried doing some snowflake folding, but again, I just was NOT happy. So I finally settled on folding a Christmas tree for a card (third time lucky and all that!!). Here is the card I made; I do hope you’ll join in the fun and play along with us this month!
Hi friends and scrappy fans!
I’m absolutely over the moon to announce that I have made it onto another Design Team! I got the email a few weeks back to say that I was chosen to join The Studio Challenges!
For our first challenge, you need to follow this sketch; the link for this challenge is here.
And the LO I created:
As you can see, I flipped the sketch once, clockwise. I decided to keep my LO clean and simple and added a few dots of glitter – what is a Christmas LO without glitter, after all!
Here are some close-ups:
Thanks for popping in! I LOVE hearing from you, so please leave a comment!
Today I wish to share with you, the layout I created for Off The Rails Scrapbooking. There is an incredibly beautiful mood board up to inspire you with all things Christmassy!
Now how lovely is that!?
I created a purple and white single page layout, with hints of silver. Here is what I did:
We would love you to join us on this challenge!
