Single Page LO, The Studio Challenges

Love Your Smile | The Studio DT

Hey scrappers!

I’m a few days late with this post!!  Currently over at The Studio Challenges, we have a rather cheery challenge for you to join in on!  Rainbows!  Show us your layout with a rainbow effect – we cannot wait to see what you come up with!

Here is what I made:

Good Friends

Hi friends,

Two challenge entry shares for you today!  First up is this gorgeous board from Scrap The Girls:

I just love this one!  I took inspiration from the roses and also the colouring of Rapunzel’s dress – shades of blue and purple. I was also very drawn to the black and white images on the upper right hand corner – so I tried to create one colour (purple) with black and white.  Because there was an overall princess theme, I added a few feminine touches with some doily die cuts and some bling swirls.

Live In The Now

Two more entries to share with you!!!  This one is for the latest challenge at Challenge YOUrself.

I chose some paper that had butterflies printed on it already; and the photo I chose to use, is one where Isabella is wearing her Cinderella dress – it’s full of butterflies too!  I added a few miniature buttons and one butterfly shaped button beside the title and I also added a butterfly chippie.  My bling is the oval frame on either side of the photograph (it’s shiny silver) and I also put a few dots of glitter glue around my photo cluster.

Perfect Moments

So there is this gorgeous mood board to play along with at Scrapping Clearly that I simply could not resist!  I have been drawn to coral so much lately…

It’s awesome, right?

So here is what I created, using the colours of this awesome mood board as inspiration.  I chose the background paper, because it reminded me a little of the mesh on the sneaker – and then I also wanted to include some circular aspect, like the chalk and the pattern on the headboard.

Single Page LO, Sketchabilities

Circle of Strength

Next up, is the layout I created for the November challenge at Sketchabilities:

I flipped the sketch once, anticlockwise.  The image is of my mom, my daughter and I.  And I chose the title ‘Circle of Strength’ because the three of us have been through the wars as of late, but we have all come out strong and fighting (even though we did have to allow ourselves the odd bit of wallowing!).

More Than Words, Single Page LO

Wherever You Go, Go With All Your Heart

Hello there fellow artists.

I have five layouts which I will share with you today – so brace yourselves.  I’ve been super busy this week in my art room – and today I decided that I’d better make a start with uploading my challenge entries!

First up is the challenge at More Than Words:

So, the word future.  When I see or hear the word, I immediately think of my daughter, Isabella; and what the future might have in store for her.  You so often hear parents say (me included!) – Oh stop getting so big or Oh I wish to have you as a baby for just one day.  The thing is – I’m really enjoying watching her grow; and I love how well she’s doing at school and how her personality is evolving every day.  I find myself giddy with excitement at the prospect of being forefront of witnessing her future develop.  I can’t wait to see how it all turns out!

So Very Happy | MIUCB DT

For this month’s challenge over at Mix It Up Challenge Blog, you are to do “Anything Goes + Aperture” (any shaped opening).

Well, I do love how this one turned out, but let me tell you that it took me longer than usual – mainly because I had to apply a little mathematics and very careful placement!  In the end, I managed to pull it together to create a LO that I have become rather fond of!  Here is what I did – I do hope you like it too!

Please come and join us – I want to see what you create!
