We have a few new gorgeous cases to crack at the CSI: Color Stories Inspiration blog – and a whole new feel and approach too! A GREAT way to start 2019 off! Here is the first one (I’ll share my projects for the others, later this month).

Here is how I solved this awesome case:

I used teal (light and dark), cerise pink, white and brown. I used papers that had chevron print, floral print and stripes – this appears as inspiration on the image. I was drawn to the flower borders on the little camper and so I uses flowers and floral border on my layout as well. My title is cursive font, which is just like the little notice board on the image.
I decided to use this photo of my daughter tucking into some watermelon, because I felt that it worked so well with the theme (summer!) and colour scheme of this challenge!
My Testimony is from Paper Wishes – number 90 – which was to write a poem.
Summer is here! It’s time for fun!
Let’s romp and play; enjoy the sun!
Watermelon, swimming, icy drinks and sunscreen
All these elements, they help set the scene
For a fabulous holiday for us to just chill
Memories to make? Oh yes we WILL!
Here are some close up shots!
