Today I am sharing my take on the Cold Case at CSI: Color Stories Inspiration. This case is a new concept and I’m very excited about having to do another layout for CSI!
I don’t know where Debbi sources her images, but they never, ever fail to inspire me – this is one of many that I’ve thought would look so beautiful in a frame, hanging up somewhere in my home.
I absolutely love this colour scheme – I’ve used red, teal, navy, pale coral, white and grey. The image made me think of home – I don’t know why or how… it just did. I thought that the girl was knitting a scarf for her home.. I don’t know how I got there, I just know that I did. I wanted the theme of my piece to be about home – hence the title. I used a pointy flower and leaves, scalloped ephemera and floral stamps on my piece; as well as some hearts.
