Adorable, right?
I was a teeny bit thrown with where to go with this one, as it’s hot and summery here in South Africa! So after much deliberation, I did this:
I chose blue-grey, yellow, red, white and green. What inspired me in the image was the plaid, the stripes and the dots; as well as the trees and the leaves.
My story is from ‘February Question’ – “If you could do today over”.
This is the very last photograph I have of my daddy and I (and Isabella, of course). It was taken on NY eve – 2017/2018. We were away in Langebaan with them and my brother and were planning on and preparing for a small gathering for NYE. Unfortunately, daddy wasn’t feeling well and little did we know that just 5 days later, all our lives would drastically change. I have no regrets about this day in particular, I just wish that I could go back to that space again… even if just for a bit… a space where daddy didn’t have cancer… a day where daddy was still ok…
