Sugar Rush | Scrap The Girls DT

You know what I love most about the Scrap The Girls challenges? It’s that they are just that – a challenge! I love that I am forced to completely either think outside of the box OR go to a place I would never have gone to get inspiration! This month is no different – check it out:

Confused???? The challenge is to scrap about your hangover – it can be anything! Here’s what I did:

My hangover is this little miss – either her sugar rush or her coming down from a sugar rush!!! Some close ups:

Life Is Short | CSI

Debbi has prepared a really great challenge to kick off November – check it out:

No photo description available.

And here is the layout I created:

I used black, white, orange, pale blue and fuchsia! I was inspired by the polka dots, stripes, flowers and brush font in the image, so I used them on my layout. My gorgeous selection of chippies are from 2Crafty Chipboard.

As for my journalling, I read all the little phrases on the wall in the image and felt that the message they carried was one of positivity and grabbing life and opportunities by the horns!

A Daughter… | CSI

Halfway through the month means that our second reveal at CSI: Color Stories Inspiration has gone live. Here is the next challenge:

Cute, eh? Here is what I created for this one:

I worked with 2 shades of a fern / sage green, bright red, white and a denimy blue. I drew inspiration from the images in the stripes, the leaves and the little animal. I also used a background paper which reminded me of the ‘washed out’ feel of the wall paper in the image. My chipboard title and pretty leaves are all from 2Crafty Chipboard.

I scrapped about mother-daughter dates that I have so often with my child!

Perfect As You Are | CSI

Just have a look at this pretty inspiration image that Debbi has found for us to play along with at CSI: Color Stories Inspiration!

I just love it! Here is my layout for this one:

I just loved the colours of this challenge, so used them predominantly in my layout. I opted for shades of minty-teal. I also used rectangles in my layering, like the rectangular pictures in the image. I chose some gorgeous frames from 2Crafty Chipboard; and my PERFECT title is also from them!
