It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas over at CSI! Pop on over to the blog and take a look at the gorgeous and inspiring images that Debbi has found for us to play with this month!
Here is my take on the first reveal:
My eye was drawn to the little Christmas Bauble on the wall, directly above the mantle; I knew that I wanted to somehow incorporate it into my layout! I worked with 2 shades of pink, dark teal, minty green and white. I also added some polka dot, striped and wood grain papers in my layering; as well as adding some leaves which had a Christmassy feel.
My journaling is about decorating our home.
We really look forward to decorating our home each year; as soon as we see shops starting to sell and / or decorate with Christmas goodies, we start chomping at the bit. Previously, we had decorated as early as mid-October; but this year, I was determined to ride it out until mid-November. After a whole lot of nudging from my child, I caved and we eventually did all our decorating in the first week of November. Her face in this photograph says it all!
