Precious Memories With You

Today I’m doing a joint share! I created this piece for 2Crafty Chipboard, based on the Cold Case File at CSI: Color Stories Inspiration. Head on over to the 2Crafty blog to see more details.

Here is what I did.

I worked with yellows, creams and varying shades of green; and I also added in some navy blue. I used a banner chipboard piece from 2Crafty – which reminded me of the scrolls / banners in the image. I used a spotty background paper that made me think of the larger sweetie jar.

Right Here & Now | CSI DT

For the first mid-month reveal at CSI: Color Stories Inspirationhttp://csichallenge.blogspot.com/2020/07/july-case-files-mid-month-reveal.html, we have a stars & strips theme.

No photo description available.

And here’s how this challenge inspired me.

I worked with red, grey, navy, cream and black.

I used stars and stripes on my layout, as well as some fussy cut flowers, distressing and some circular elements.

All Time Favourite | CSI DT

We have the prettiest colour palette and inspiration images to kick off July, over at CSI: Color Stories Inspiration.

No photo description available.

Being that the theme is ice-cream, I simply had to scrap this photo of my daughter eating her “All Time Favourite” treat!

So I worked with grey, pale blue, yellow, pink and white.

I was inspired straight away by the raindrop image – and went ahead with a background to (almost) match; instead of raindrops, I used clouds. I also incorporated some woodgrain print paper in my layering and added some floral ephemera and papers too. For the background to my layered cluster, I just lightly dry-brushed some white craft paint.
