We have the prettiest colour palette and inspiration images to kick off July, over at CSI: Color Stories Inspiration.
Being that the theme is ice-cream, I simply had to scrap this photo of my daughter eating her “All Time Favourite” treat!
So I worked with grey, pale blue, yellow, pink and white.
I was inspired straight away by the raindrop image – and went ahead with a background to (almost) match; instead of raindrops, I used clouds. I also incorporated some woodgrain print paper in my layering and added some floral ephemera and papers too. For the background to my layered cluster, I just lightly dry-brushed some white craft paint.
