Treasure This Moment | 2Crafty + CSI

This Case File (No 343) from CSI: Color Stories Inspiration is just so glorious! I’ve combined it with my latest project for 2Crafty Chipboard.

Here’s what I did with this one.

I worked with deep brown, mushroom, white, blue and grey. I LOVE the wintry feel of the image and really just wanted to recapture that. I have a woodgrain background, textured paper, snowflake style chipboard pieces and chevrons.

Pop on over to CSI: Color Stories Inspiration to see our Cold Case File for January – it’s SO pretty!

Here’s my creation for this challenge:

I worked with red, gold / mustard, brown, black and white. I drew inspiration from the foliage and added a scroll / plaque that resembled the roof of the house. I also wanted as much of a white space type feel, as in the image. My stencil also, in a way, resembles snowfall.

Embrace Today | 2Crafty + CSI

I have combined my 2 DT challenges today; my chipboard pieces are all from 2Crafty and I’ve used clues from CSI: Color Stories Inspiration Case File 342.

I worked with red, icy blue, pine green, white and kraft. My evidence from the inspiration image includes stripes, solid white background, kraft paper, cursive font ad die cuts. My stencilling also resembles snow.

Challenge YOURself DT

Celebrate Together | Challenge YOUrself

What better way to kick off 2021 than with a favourite memory of 2020 (difficult as the year was for everyone – I’m sure there must be at least one happy memory!). Have a look at our latest challenge at Challenge YOUrself:

Here’s mine… While being in hard lockdown, we celebrated a few events (my together-versary with my partner, his birthday, my daughter’s birthday and my own). To celebrate these properly, we decided to do formal, dress up dinners. They were ALL my favourite memory, but this one is my favourite photograph of one of those memories.
