My last creation for 2Crafty Chipboard for this month went live a few days ago … I’m a little behind with my admin – be sure to head on over to the blog to see more!!!
Head on over to CSI to see our pretty cold case file!
I made my base page so that it resembled the blackboard. And I have altered my big swirl chippie to match the water-colour effect. I have added some bunting to resemble the pegged items in the image and I have also used stripes and a clock.
Our second challenge at CSI is absolutely gorgeous! The colour palette alone is sublime!
I used all the colours. My background page is similar in colour, look and feel to that of the inspiration image. I have used hearts, butterflies and leaves as well. This selfie was taken on a glorious weekend away with my 2 peeps!
Here is my second layout for 2Crafty Chipboard. I absolutely LOVED this title chippie and couldn’t resist using it on this layout of my cheeky-poser daughter!
For the month of September, I have created 3 layouts which show or represent the varying moods or moments of my tween daughter. Here is the first one (be sure to head to the blog to see more!).
Our challenge this month at Challenge YOUrself, is one centred on friendship.
These 2 lovelies beside me are my bestie from high school (who became my sister-in-law) and my cousin (sister from another mister!).
Our first challenge for September at CSI, has a glorious Autumnal feel to it.
I worked with all the colours. I decided that I wanted to find a way to re-create the way the letters were shown in the image – so I added a text patterned torn page to my base page. Further, I made use of plaid and check papers. I also used a cute bird on my layout and shaded a mesh background to finish off the look. The story behind the photograph is answering the question : what is the secret to a happy life. Well… I think it’s to be silly and have FUN! Keep smiling, keep laughing, keep joking!
Our theme this month at Scrap the Girls is one of chilling… cosying up… relaxing… and so on. I used a photograph of my daughter taken on one of our MANY PJ days during Lockdown last year!
