So my final share for today is another one for Anna’s Craft Cupboard:
I used several butterflies in my layering and decided also, that this photo of my daughter suited the theme to a ‘T’! My background paper has butterflies, as does my washi tape and then I finished off by using a butterfly stamp.
I loved the mood board that Anna’s Craft Cupboard is hosting this month and couldn’t resist playing along with it!
Here’s what I did. I wanted to use the black minimally, so I added it as little chippie frames. I was inspired by the circular fans, so I chose some paper with a similar design. I loved all the flowers, so I added some of those too in the form of fussy cutting, ephemera and a stencil. Lastly, I added some gold coloured paper for some glam!

I’ve decided to enter more challenges because I simply can’t get enough of my art / therapy (although doing this one of daddy and I was hard – his loss is still so raw for us)! One such challenge site that I recently came across is Anna’s Craft Cupboard – and this is their sketch challenge for August:
