Hello Feb! Hello Month of Love!
So we have a Princess Themed challenge for you this month over at Scrap The Girls:
I was inspired by the rose (for Belle) and all those divine scrolls!
If you’re feeling the pinch of cabin fever during the worldwide isolation, why don’t you haul out your holiday pics and come join us for an adventurous challenge at Scrap The Girls this month!
Here’s what I did with this month’s challenge:
I’m afraid that this is about as adventurous as we get when we go on holiday!

Hi friends,
Two challenge entry shares for you today! First up is this gorgeous board from Scrap The Girls:
I just love this one! I took inspiration from the roses and also the colouring of Rapunzel’s dress – shades of blue and purple. I was also very drawn to the black and white images on the upper right hand corner – so I tried to create one colour (purple) with black and white. Because there was an overall princess theme, I added a few feminine touches with some doily die cuts and some bling swirls.
Such a great sketch to work with this month at Scrap The Girls! I really enjoyed working on this one!
Hi there,
Today I want to share the layout I created for the BE-YOOO-TIFUL mood board challenge that Scrap The Girls have for August – I seriously love these colours!
My eye kept going to the beautifully made up girl in the top left hand corner – I love her makeup and the flowers in her hair, so I decided to incorporate flowers in my layout. I also used a wood grain background; inspiration for that, taken from the door in the top left hand corner. And I used all the colours from the four above too.
Here is what I did – along with some close ups.
