Today I am sharing an art journal page I created for the October challenge over at Mix It Up Challenge blog. For this month, the theme is Anything Goes + Watercolour.
I decided to haul out my all-time favourite Distress Oxides to create an under-water page, featuring mermaids, sea horses, starfish and adorable fishes.
I stamped all my designs onto some watercolour paper – alternating between stamping and clear embossing; and stamping using the Distress Oxides. Those which were stamped and embossed, I then brushed through some distress oxide watered down with my water mister.
